NH Thunder encourages fun, physical activity to young athletes

NH Thunder is a running program designed for young athletes, ages 7 to 14, to prepare them for a high school competition. Between adult support and supervision and the knowledge of the Coe Brown student athlete, our goal is to make each practice fun and useful.

Registrations now being accepted for NH Thunder XC 2019

NH Thunder Cross Country Program Now accepting registrations for the 2019 Season of NH Thunder Cross Country.  The program will be held at Coe Brown Northwood Academy.  Kids will participate in running games such as scavenger hunts, relay races, and obstacle courses while they learn the fun of running on the trails, being active, and making healthy choices.  Participants will also receive a t-shirt to keep.   We will be having a small xc race in conjunction with the Div. II JV State meet held at Coe Brown at the end of the season. **Program will only be held if there is enough registrations by September 7th. NH Thunder needs many Parent Volunteers.  No experience is necessary! Parent Volunteer Meeting Parent Volunteer Meeting In April We are in need of several volunteers that work with Coe Brown Track Athletes to help coach the NH Thunder athletes through different skills and drills.  Parent volunteers help keep the athletes on track and reporting to the next station so that the program runs smoothly. Our program uses a station to station approach so that all athletes benefit from speed , plyometric, and core workouts, and of course the famous obstacle course. Track and Field 2019 now accepting Registrations

NH Thunder Track & Field Program is now accepting Registrations The NH Thunder Track and Field Program is currently taking registrations for the 2019 Track & Field season. Or you can print out and return the registration form with the program fee of $50.00  which includes: new uniforms this year and meet fees – made payable to NH Thunder, PO Box 173, Strafford, NH  03884. Early Bird Registration is by March 31st, after that the fee changes to $55.00. Registrations will also be taken the first night of practice. The program will begin Monday, April 15th and run thru May 23rd.  The Track and Field program is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6-14 yrs. as of December 31, 2019. Practices will be Monday and Thursdays from 5:15-6:45pm with 3 track meets throughout the season.  Practices are held at the Coe Brown Northwood Academy Track.  The meets will also be held at Coe Brown.  Times will be subject to change due to High School meets and availability of CBNA athletes.  There will also be optional meets during the season that we...
